I’m currently in the process of setting up an iRedMail server on my VPS and I’ve encountered some issues that I hope the community can help me resolve. I’m relatively new to email server setups, so any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
My Setup:
Operating System: Ubuntu 20.04
iRedMail Version: Latest
VPS Provider: DigitalOcean
Server Specs: 2 GB RAM, 2 CPU Cores
During the installation process, I encountered an error message that halted the installation. Unfortunately, I didn’t capture the exact error message at the time, but it was something related to “package dependencies” and “failed to configure postfix”.
I tried to manually install Postfix and its dependencies, but the installation script still fails at the same point.

Checking Network Connectivity
Manually Installing Dependencies
sudo apt install postfix
Checking Logs ( I looked into /var/log/iredmail/install.log but couldn’t find any clear indication of what went wrong.)
Rebooting Server
But still, the error persists.
I’m reaching out to the community for suggestions on how to resolve this issue.
